We will answer your questions
Auctioning is not always easy, which is why we have answered the most common questions for you below.
What is an exclamation price?
An exclamation price is a benchmark for the value of the auction item. This is often based on previous sales of similar items. The final price may be higher and lower depending on how the bidding ends.
Can a family member or friend collect my winnings?
Friends and family or other acquaintances can of course collect your winnings for you. However, you must inform us well in advance before it is time to hand over your items.
How much does it cost to buy from Drott Auctions?
We'll take a commission from the buyer. However, you as a customer will always be able to see the final prices after commission before you buy the goods.
All fees are incl VAT.
Can I assume that the item is not damaged unless it is in the object description?
yes. If there are no documented or photographed damage to the goods you are expected to buy, you can always assume that the item is in undamaged condition. In the unlikely event of a mistake, we will of course help you to advertise the goods.
What are my consequences if I miss the extradition date?
Is it possible to get more information about the product I am interested in?
Of course, we will provide you with the information you want. If you are interested in an auction target, you can always contact us by email or phone.
What do I do if I want to bid at an auction?
How do you inspect the items being auctioned?
All our objets are in one way or another used and of course have history. We always try to be as careful as possible when inspecting your object, so you can feel safe when you make an offer with us.
Can you send out my auction target?
We have the absolute opportunity to deliver your auction targets with different types of delivery methods. You'll be charged for the shipping cost. Depending on the size of your item, costs may vary.
If you have any further questions about how we handle your deliveries or costs around these, you can call or email us.
What do I do if I regret my purchase?
We always try to describe our items as accurately as possible so that you as customers can shop safely with us.
With us, it is not allowed to use the right of withdrawal as an excuse not to pay for my auction item. However, the right of withdrawal can be exercised on the goods purchased remotely.
If you want to know more about our terms of purchase, you can always call or email us for more information.
What do I do if I want to claim an item?
Can I call in to make my bid?
Answer yes. You can always call in and bid. You will then tell our staff what your maximum bid is so we have the opportunity to depart after this.
Do I have the option to split my purchase into several parts?
Of course you have the opportunity to split your purchase with us. Like many other parties, we understand that they are not always easy to pay the full amount at once.
If you need to divide your payment on your auction target, you can always contact us for more information on how we handle partial payments.
How does the "maxbud" service work?
The maximum bid works in such a way that you deposit the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the auction response. After that, the computer handles the bidding.
This means that the computer helps you to gradually bid on an item until it reaches your maximum bid. If the item goes above your maximum bid, you have lost the auction. However, if the auction is for a lower price than your maximum bid, you have won the auction.
If I lead the bidding, can I expect to win the item on the day of the auction?
Answer no. We can never guarantee that you will get home the most profit even if you currently have a leading bid. What we recommend for all our customers is to have a phone or computer at your fingertips when the bidding starts to tighten up. It is common for many to bid in the last few minutes of the auction. Therefore, make sure that you can quickly place a higher bid if you want to take home the prize.
You started the auction yesterday, but today there has been a change in the description of the auction item.
If we realize that there has been misleading information or if we have received new fresh information about the item, the product description may change.
If the bid is the winning bid beforehand, the winner has the opportunity to contact us if they no longer want to make the purchase on the item.
What happens if I don't pay my invoices?
If you forget or don't pay your invoice, we will send you a reminder. If you do not pay the invoice after this, we will forward your case to debt collection.
Do I have to contact you to order shipping on my item?
no. Since many of our bidders live outside our auction area, we will provide shipping from scratch. If you do not need to ship your item but want to pick them up yourself, you can always contact us to inform us of this.
Can I buy gift cards from you?
Of course, you can buy gift cards with us. If you would like to buy a gift card, please contact us by phone or email. We will then send you a digital invoice with the amounts you load your gift card with.
